Ayanna F Poindexter, DMD

Dr. Ayanna F. Poindexter has built a practice that exceeds expectations for trusted, personalized dental care. She is committed to offering patients the best dentistry has to offer by keeping herself and her team current on the latest advances and techniques. Dr. Poindexter earned her D.M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (Rutgers Dental). She continually pursues continuing education, including courses in advanced endodontics, dental implants, CEREC, and anterior esthetics (including veneers). Prior to UMDNJ, she graduated from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland. She is a member of the National Dental Association and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Her top priorities are patient education and delivering high-quality care to improve overall dental health. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, visiting museums, attending concerts, and seeing Broadway shows.
